Proof of patrol without waiting for the end of the shift

A guard tour should answer simple questions quickly: which guard completed the route, which checkpoints were visited, which scans are late or missed, and whether anything happened during the patrol. CheckpointGuard records patrol evidence as work happens, so supervisors do not have to reconstruct the tour later from memory or messages.

NFC checkpoints, GPS context, and geofence checks

An NFC scan confirms that the guard reached a physical checkpoint. GPS adds route context, while a geofence records entry into a wider patrol zone. Supervisors can review all three against the same guard, site and patrol instead of treating each signal as a separate count.

Reports that are connected to real patrol data

The value of a guard tour system is not just the scan. It is the report that explains what happened. CheckpointGuard connects patrol proof, exceptions, SOS alerts, and site activity so supervisors can prepare cleaner reports for clients and internal review.

FAQ

Is CheckpointGuard a guard tour system?

Yes. It includes checkpoint proof, guard activity, location context, missed or overdue checkpoint review and reporting. Wider operations tools include schedules, guard-pay calculation and Aegis AI summaries according to the selected plan.

Does the system use QR codes or NFC tags?

CheckpointGuard uses NFC tags for physical checkpoints. The Guard app records the tag visit against the active patrol, while geofences cover larger zones where a physical tag is unnecessary. QR scanning is not part of the current workflow.

Can supervisors see missed checkpoints?

Yes. The dashboard includes geofence and NFC status views that help supervisors see overdue or missed visits and review the surrounding activity.
